1. Who we are
Table bookings at Ohana, Unit 1 Hereford St, Sale, Manchester M33 7XN, are provided by OTTER SALE LTD, trading as Ohana (“we”, “us”). Our online shop is run by a separate company, OHANA SUSHI LTD, and has its own Terms & Conditions.
2. Booking a table
Booking is free. When you book you will see either “You’re booked in”, or — for our busiest dates — that we have your request and will ring you back to confirm it; a table is only held once we have spoken. We keep your table for 15 minutes after your booking time. If we have not seen or heard from you by then, the booking is treated as cancelled.
3. Deposits
Larger parties pay a deposit, and the amount is shown before you book. It is one deposit per booking, not per person, and it comes off your final bill when you dine. The deposit is paid by bank transfer, with a screenshot sent to us on WhatsApp.
Until we have received the deposit your booking is only a request: the table is not reserved, and the time can still be taken by someone else. Please pay within 1 hour of booking. If the deposit has not reached us by then we may release the request without further notice.
4. Changing and cancelling
You can change or cancel a booking online with “Find my booking”, or by calling us. If you cancel at least 2 hours before your booking we return the deposit in full, by bank transfer. If you cancel later, or do not turn up, the deposit is non-refundable. If we ever have to cancel, we return the deposit in full. A booking that has not been paid for can be cancelled at any time at no cost.
5. Your information
We use the name, phone number and email address you give us only to manage your booking and to contact you about it. For table bookings, Otter Sale Ltd is the controller of that information. Our Privacy Policy explains how we look after it.
